The greatest hits of JVC and the evolution 1927–2008
In 2008, JVC has a product range that is the envy of the competition and a track record to be proud of. All of this makes a print campaign that combines both elements the ideal means to demonstrate just what evolution means to JVC: Ever better specifications in ever more compact housings. It was not for nothing that the JVC Super Slim LCD TV was recently chosen as the 2008 Design LCD TV of the Year. With this TV, JVC has proven that TVs can not only be made larger, but can also be extremely flat, while at the same time offering increasingly better picture and sound quality. A TV that you can hang on your wall like a piece of art: now that is evolution. Among video cameras and audio equipment, we only see housings becoming more and more compact while simultaneously performance increases astonishingly. Where exactly is the dividing line between evolution and REvolution? No matter where that line is drawn, the innovators at JVC are well on their way to demolishing that dividing line.
